Blue Muse!
This is the right kind of indigo for body art! A prepared vat of indigo dye is freeze dried into these crystal. Adding just a bit of water brings the vat back to life at your convenience.
To use this dye for body art add about 1/8 of a teaspoon (we suggest a baby food spoon) to a shot glass or similar container filled half way with water. Let this stand for a few minutes and apply to skin with a synthetic bristle brush. Several applications are usually required. Just rinse with a little soap and water between them. This jar contains 5 grams by weight or 10 grams by volume of Blue Muse! indigo crystals. That's enough to make about 10 tiny vats as described above. Makes dozens of indigo designs!
This product made from indigo which is considered safe for use on skin by the FDA, but it is alkaline in nature (compare to home made lye soap) and may be hard on sensitive skin. It is not recommended for children, and should not be used on irritated or broken skin. It should not be used in large applications or near the face or other sensitive areas.
